The Ben Wayne Kyle Band is a unique amalgamation of funk/jazz and folk/rock that draws inspiration from the likes of Stevie Wonder, Radiohead, Joni Mitchell, and Bill Frisell. The band met in 2018 at Capilano University’s jazz program, therefore much of their music includes improvisation and group interaction. Comprised of accomplished musicians, all actively engaged in various projects across the lower mainland, the band strives to take the listener on a soul-stirring expedition through lively instrumental rhythms, thoughtful lyrics, and captivating solos. The band is currently recording their first album and is looking forward to sharing their music in the near future.
